MY THOUGHTS

Stitched was the September book club pick for the Pecan Grove Book Club. It’s a story about a quilting group of elderly ladies who are entering a contest and need to recruit some new blood. Enter two adorable gay men who get to witness the shenanigans of the quilting club as they gain some new friends.

I enjoyed the funny banter and the cute situations that this group finds themselves in. The juxtaposition of the two unlikely pairs of friends makes this book work really well. The plot was really cute.

I enjoyed this, but I didn’t LOVE it. It was cute but it didn’t change my life or make me want to run out and scream about it to my friends. I think overall, the Bookclub members felt the same way.

READ IT IF… 🔥

You love cozy fiction, found family, warm-hearted humor, and older characters getting into just enough terrible to keep things interesting.
